Funding And Grants

Although 10 projects have already received funding, there is potential to fund at least another 4 projects.

Grants will be a maximum of £15,000, with a capital allowance of up to 10% of total grant, for the purchase of sound and video-recording equipment.

Museums Galleries Scotland full-member museums and galleries will be eligible to apply for funding and will lead on all project activity. Associated members may be involved in a partnership led by a full member, but will not be eligible to apply for funding.

Grant application forms and guidance are available to Museums Galleries Scotland-member museums and galleries on the Applying For Funding page. All projects must be completed by 30 November 2009.

The Round 2 deadline for applications has now passed. The grant assessment panel will meet soon (w/c 2 February) and applicants will be notified of the outcome shortly thereafter.

Although match-funding is not required for Their Past Your Future Scotland Phase 2, a local and regional commitment to, and support for, project activities will be advantageous.

Exclusions

Applicants will not normally be awarded more than one grant.
Applications for work that has already taken place will not be successful.
