What's The War Got To Do With Us?

24/02/2010

30 January - 28 March 2010

A new exhibition has been launched charting Banffshire's involvement in one of the most turbulent times in history - World War II.

"What's The War Got To Do With Us?" features items from the period handed in by local people, including an incendiary bomb, photos, razors and boot polish. There is even one of the famous Enigma code-breaking machines.

The Duff House exhibition is part of a nationwide project named Their Past Your Future Scotland which aims to bring young people and older generations together to capture World War II history and that of all subsequent conflicts.

The exhibition runs from Saturday 30 January - Sunday 28 March 2010.
