16/11/2009

17 - 28 November 2009

This exhibition showcases work created by pupils from Cornhill Primary School, Riverbank Primary School, and Robert Gordon’s College in response to veterans visiting their classrooms as part of the Their Past Your Future Scotland project.

Post-War: The Soldier’s Perspective project focused on capturing the unique oral history of post World War II conflicts and peacekeeping missions, giving centre stage to Gordon Highlanders veterans and young people involved through interviews, storytelling, art and other creative activities.

Post-War: The Soldier’s Perspective is a partnership of local schools, Aberdeen City Council Arts Development Team and Arts Education Team, Aberdeen Museums and Galleries and The Gordon Highlanders Museum.
