The wartime memories of Highlanders have gone on display at Inverness Museum and Art Gallery.
The exhibition 'Hidden Highland Histories WWII' features stories from soldiers and evacuees from the Highlands, as well as artefacts from World War II.
The Inverness Museum and Art Gallery exhibition is part of a nationwide project named Their Past Your Future Scotland which aims to bring young people and older generations together to capture World War II history and that of all subsequent conflicts.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 20 February - Saturday 28 March 2010.
